Growing up in the Southeastern United States has influenced me since I can remember. Time spent outdoors filled my head with images and an atmosphere that stays with me to this day. As I found my love for drawing and painting, learning to put this down visually, inspired me. 

Observing the world and recording my ideas has motivated me as an artist. Upon moving to Searsport, Maine, I found the commercial boats operating on the foggy seas truly captivating. This pushed me to start drawing what i was experiencing. 

During 2023 I focused on drawing the local commercial lobstering industry and it’s imagery. By doing this, I am very excited to see how I develop as a artist. My hope is the viewer can enjoy a sense of the Maine coast that I get to experience every day.
